Terms and conditions:

Booking fee – A booking fee of £150 is charged on booking. This fee is deducted in full from the total price on completion of the contract.

Payments – Balance fees: 50% of the remaining balance due 28 days prior to the wedding day and the outstanding balance on the receipt of the preview DVD. Payment for additional photographs to be made when these are ordered.

Display – It is agreed that the photographer may display any photograph included in this contract in her studio or portfolio and on the web. Any other use of the photographs by the photographer must be agreed in writing.

Photographs – All photograph sizes are nominal (there may be a slight variation in size). The photographer will provide an accurate colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching, due to anomalous reflectance of some materials.

Retouching – Retouching and artist finishing is available as an optional extra.

Re-orders  – All re-orders shall be treated as an extension of this contract. No responsibility for error will be accepted unless orders are given in writing.

Copyright – The 1988 Copyright Act assigns the copyright to the photographer. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied any photographs covered by this contract.  

Licence – The photographer is given licence to choose locations and direct poses as she thinks fit.

Force Majeure – In the event of total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by the photographer, due to any cause beyond her control, liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.

Cancellation – Should the client wish to cancel this contract at any time, notice must be given in writing to the photographer. The following sums will be due: notice given less than 8 weeks prior to the wedding day: the client should pay the photographer a sum equal to 50% of the balance due. Notice given less than two weeks before the wedding: the whole of the balance of the sum due will be payable.
